Nomination for the Wallenberg Academy Fellows program

Wallenberg Academy Fellows is a long-term program that addresses young researchers in medicine, natural sciences, engineering and technology, humanities and social sciences.

The program was launched in 2012 and provides long-term funding for young, promising Swedish and foreign researchers from all academic fields.

From 2017 the call will be announced every other year. The next call will be in 2019.

The program is set up in close cooperation with the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities and the Swedish Academy.

The purpose of the Wallenberg Academy Fellows program is to give young researchers working conditions that enables them to focus on research and tackle difficult, long-term research questions.

The next call will be in 2019.
