Clothes, cars, house facades – all kinds of surfaces can in the future provide us with electricity if the research that Professor Ellen Moons at Karlstad University conducts with her team succeeds. They aim to produce a solar cell material with a special type of plastic molecule, polymer, which absorbs light to create new materials that can conduct electricity.
The project also includes researchers from Linköping and Lund University as well as Chalmers.
