How is it that migratory birds can make their way across continents, every spring and autumn? Anders Hedenström, Lund University, is looking to find out. Some migratory birds can fly non-stop for a week, equivalent to 100 marathons for a human. A great help in his research is Lund University’s wind tunnel which can reveal important details about bird migration that cannot be found out in the wild.
