Your brain is a miracle. It stores your memories, creates your feelings and forms your thoughts. 100 billion nerve cells control everything that happens in your body. But your brain is also susceptible to diseases that can kill these nerve cells - neurodegenerative diseases like dementia. Today, more elderly people die of dementia than cancer.
