Poor air quality is one of the biggest health risks worldwide causing disease and premature death. Wallenberg Academy Fellow Illona Riipinen, Stockholm University, wants to understand the composition of the atmosphere and how small airborne particles interact with clouds and rain and how it affects our health and the climate.
